Finance and Account Manager

Job Responsibilities

Your Daily Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and financial budget.
• Credit Limit Control, Monitoring of all credit notes, and proper verifications before final approval.
• Quarterly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses in addition to monthly expense variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (IFRS, US GAAP, and OHADA).
• Managing accounting books records, receipts, payments, and reporting.
• Oversee and monitor product prices based on company-specified categories.
• Perform daily and weekly revenue recognition and cost optimization exercises.
• Analyzing current and past financial data and performance.
• Reconciling daily, weekly, monthly and yearly transactions.
• Resolve financial discrepancies or disputes that may arise from customers or sales teams.
• AR report & follow up with customer & sales department.
• Collating report on a Bi-Monthly basis.
• Establishing and evaluating profit plans.
• Developing an in-depth financial model and process and ensure compliance with internal controls and suggest process improvements as needed.
• Supporting the CFO and executives with projects and tasks when required. Any other job may be assigned by the business manager.
• Support overall department and organizational financial goals and objectives.
• Work with external auditors to perform the annual audits for all our jurisdictions.
• Fulfill other ad-hoc financial requests as needed by the management.

Basic Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is an added advantage.
• Professional qualifications like ICAN, ACCA are an added advantage.
• Previous experience in either Accounts, Finance analysis, Inventory or related roles is required.
• Up to 3+ years of professional experience with a background in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
